ACPO comment on Police Arbitration Tribunal

ACPO lead on workforce development Sir Peter Fahy said:

“ACPO has always stated that the key to the review of pay and conditions is fairness. We would wish to see reforms which take account not only of the challenging financial situation but the needs of modern policing and the changing employment market.

“Following the decision of the Police Arbitration Tribunal the final decision now rests with the Home Secretary.”
