New vacancy: Audit and assurance board independent non-executive members

The role is based in London and requires 10 days’ work per year with the successful applicant receiving £3,000 per annum plus expenses. 

 Critical requirements for this role are:

• No direct present connection with policing
• Interest in outcomes generated by policing
• Understanding of good corporate governance
• Collegial working style with other board members and staff
• Expertise in one or more of: finance/audit/risk/leadership/operational effectiveness
• Flexible availability to 10 planned days per year
